Features of non-fiction texts

I was learning about things that are in a non-fiction text.  Now I know that diagram is a picture with labels on them to tell which part is which.  It was tricky, because I kept mixing things up because I haven't learnt about any of these until then.

I was learning to use punctuation like speech marks and direct speech i can put speech marks in the correct place. it was tricky because i did not understand much.  I also learned about sequencing words which are the words we use to understand the story better because we put it in order.
