Time and Measuring Time

Reflection.

I was learning to measure and tell the time digital and analog. I thought I had known all time there is but i actually had n't.I learnt about how military women and men told time for example 1:00 am represented in 24 hour time is 0100. I found this activity tricky because there  were a lot of activities I did n't understand leading to frustration resorting to being confused and asking for a lot of help.

DASH? paragraph

Reflection
I was learning to use DASH? in a paragraph. I found this activity easy because before we typed it up Miss D'souza and Miss Payne thoroughly explained what a DASH paragraph and cliff hanger is and how to use them correctly . I think I did well because writing is definitely my forte, i like it a lot , by association I loved this activity!

Word Bluff

Reflection
I found this activity easy because we had help from resources like dictionary.com and other sources.
I enjoyed this activity because it didn't require much work. I think I did well because I was the first one to finish.

2D and 3D shapes

Reflection
I was learning to name shapes and understand the features of the shapes.
I found this easy because we have been learning lots about this in class.
Next time i want to try harder to finish it earlier.

Math's Angles and Triangles

Reflection:
 I was learning about angles and triangles. I was able to memorize what shapes were which.I found this easy because we learnt a lot about this topic. Next time i will try to recognize the shapes even faster.

Nouns Activity

Reflection
I was learning to identify and place proper nouns. I found this easy and hard because I knew what to do with the activity but there were lots of errors in uploading it .

The Butterfly Effect

Reflection
 I were learning to make inferences about characters and synthesize our ideas as we read a story as well as identify and describe what the author wanted me to feel, think about, or see. I found this easy because I have done a lot of prediction activities also the story was interesting.

Units of Length

Reflection
I was learning about the common uses of length and tools.
I found this activity hard because I didn't know what to do so I panicked and got distracted which made it a whole lot harder.
My next step is to work on my timing.

Worm Tea Poster

Reflection
I was learning to make a poster this was easy because in my perspective it was just like a persuasive  report you put your data in and persuade the person to do/buy something. I enjoyed I because I got to reflect my style on it.

Information Report

Reflection
 I was learning to write an information report .This was easy because i am a very good writer and you only had to copy out of your book. I liked this because I love to write.

Reflection 

I found this activity easy because I had a lot of help from my friend Delaney which made it easier than it was. I enjoyed this activity because I got to base it on a book and my style.

ANZAC Poem

Reflection:
I was learning to write an acrostic poem.
I found this easy because i know a lot about the war like over 19,000 died.
I  need to improve on thinking about more interesting words and trying to make the sentences better.
I was able to  think of words to put in here and also making the sentences simple but exciting.

I was learning to identify the main idea and supporting detail
I was able to connect information and data to conclude the supporting detail
I found it easy because it was short and simple.
I need to improve on explaining why and putting in the correct information.

All About Me

Reflection
In this activity I was learning to split my ideas into  para graphs . I found this activity easy because i was working very hard and trying my best.I need to work on making my work more professional since i'm a senior.

Interpreting Statistical Information

Reflection

IALT interpret statistical information and identify parts of a graph i learnt what a bar graph was. I found this easy because i have practiced lots and I have got lots of help.

Waitangi Day

Reflection
I was learning to make a poster. in this activity i had to work with a buddy,we found it a bit challenging because we couldn't agree On each other's ideas. The easy part was definitely publishing, overall I enjoyed the work, I would do it again if I could.

Hi my name is Sanja, I just started year 5 and I am in room 25 and my teachers name is Miss D'souza. I'm interested in reading, maths, writing, unicorns, and interior design. My goal for this year as a senior is improving my hand writing and my interest in sports. A few other interests of mine are cooking, cleaning, Pegasus's, jumping on trampolines, history, science, TV, Teen Titans go.
